5/20 – "Beer cans that let you know when they are cold"

20 May

I’m not a big beer drinker, but has anybody seen this shit?  While watching some sports event I’m sure, a commercial for Coors Light appeared before me.  Apparently the can now tells you when it’s cold.  That’s right, according to the Internet, “Thermochromatic ink turns the mountains (on the can) blue when the beer is cold, and at it’s ideal drinking temperature.

Or you could just put the can in the refrigerator until you’re ready to drink it.  Do you know the best way to see if the can is cold?  YOU PICK IT UP.    :)

I guess I’m just old school.  I think it’s cool that those mountains turn blue, but I honestly hope they realize it’s not a useful function in the least bit to anybody who isn’t a complete moron.

“to anybody who isn’t a complete moron.”

Have you seen the average beer drinker?

    Case closed.

Remember when you could pinch batteries and the little strip would light up if they still had a charge? Where did that technology go? I also had a shirt that changed from blue to purple when it got warm. More things in my life should change colors, I’d enjoy the variety.

Haha. I know. I saw that ad too and thought what a waste of time and money. Corrs should take all that effort and put it into world peace or curing cancer. At least those things could actually be helping people.

I am a Beer drinker, all though Bud Light is my beer of choice I am thankful that they do not have a can that tells you it’s cold. Probably one of thee most useless things ever created.

I agree stick it in the fridge before you plan on drinking it, if your in a real pinch try putting it in the freezer. E-z enough.
