6/14 – "Employees must wash hands"

Oh yeah?  What if I don’t?  How are you gonna know?  As far as I can see, it’s nearly impossible to enforce these kinds of laws.  Well, there was that one Seinfeld episode in which Jerry actually caught the cook “Papi” not washing his hands in the bathroom.

But other than visual confirmation, there’s little anybody can do to catch somebody breaking this law.  It’s probably a pretty dumb law anyway.  I mean, shouldn’t everyone who pisses and shits wash their hands afterward?

I mean, let’s say somebody walks into a restaurant, goes to the bathroom, pisses and shits on his/her hands, then exits and returns to the dinner table.  This person is still going to be touching the same doorknobs and menus as everyone else.  It’s okay though….

ONLY EMPLOYEES MUST WASH HANDS.

    I’ve witnessed too many people at work NOT wash their hands after peeing and pooping. And if some women are like that, I’m willing to bet there are alot more men who are the same way.

    Nothing makes me want to yack more than people not washing their hands when they are done. Especially if they come out of a stall, fuckin gross.

    Awesome comment Extreme John. And yeah, like he said, I am a cleanliness freak and I will flip out if I see an employee leave the bathroom and not wash their hands. But at the same time, I think those signs are there for people just like me – whether there is hand washing going on or not.

    Everyone should wash their hands when they leave. However, we as people tend to ignore the fact that the door knob in addition to just about anything else we touch is a huge source of bacteria and possibly fecal matter. What doesn’t kill you…
