If everyone had the workday off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, like they should, I wouldn’t find myself in these conversations.

ME:  Are you off on Monday?

ANONYMOUS:  No.

ME:  Your office hates black people?

ANONYMOUS: Yes.

ME:  Does that mean you have to work extra hours?

ANONYMOUS:  No, only the black people do.
