For my first Ron Paul-themed rhyme, I thought it be best to do something about what’s probably Dr. Paul’s core issue, the corrupt Federal Reserve system.  For rhyme number two, I wanted to further examine a specific topic that’s particularly important to me — Israel.

I am a Jewish person living here in America, yes.  But I’m not from Israel, and have never even visited there. So what really drove me to further pursue this topic? — probably the mainstream media’s continued twisting, distorting, and perversion of Dr. Paul’s views on many issues, including Israel.   Dr. Paul’s views on what America’s relationship with Israel should be, is something that I fear is too often misunderstood by the average person.

I’m not an expert on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict by any means, and at worst you can probably call me a biased Jew, but nevertheless it would’ve been nice if Israel would’ve emailed me first –you know, before their recent “surge,” or “offensive.”

I don’t doubt Israel is targeting militant people/operations, but civilian casualties, no matter how minimal will only inspire more hate, so all of this likely isn’t really a long term solution for anything.

THAT BEING SAID, Hamas wants Israel wiped off the map, and those ‘tards refuse to stop shooting rockets at Israel’s people — so, I don’t blame a country for defending itself.

Israel would have been wise to be more outward to the world beforehand — about their degree of agressiveness that the operation is.  Maybe, they were.  I dunno.  I don’t recall coming across a warning on the Yahoo news headlines.  Some kinda notice.  Jews sometimes seem to like writing letters for some reason, so regular mail would’ve worked too.

You may have seen or heard about that story in which Sarah Silverman is encouraging young Jewish people to travel to the battleground state of Florida.  She’s urging young Jews to get their undecided grandparents to vote for Obama.  Sarah wants us to “schlep” to the Sunshine State.

I like Sarah, but she’s sort of trying to create a “cutesy” bit, but it’s not really that funny.  The thing is, the unfortunate reason many old Jews are reluctant to vote for Obama is because they think 2 ridiculous things:

1. Obama will allow the destruction of Israel.
2. Black people aren’t qualified to be president.

In general, I just think that people who try to sway “undecideds” one way or another are annoying.  I’d rather tell these people that they’re fucking idiots and racists…….rather than try to win them over to vote the way I do.

Today, while browsing the news on the Internet, I found out that “..Moses was on psychedelic drugs when he heard God deliver the Ten Commandments.”  According to an Israeli researcher, the psychedelic effects of the plant ayahuasca were comparable to those produced by concoctions based on bark of the acacia tree, which are frequently mentioned in the Bible.

No wonder Moses thought God was talking to him.  That dude was trippin.’  Anyway, it most likely wasn’t just Moses and his followers that were on drugs.  It probably was all them religious guys and their followers.

For the most part, all that supernatural mumbo-jumbo I always kind of assumed were just stories distorted and exaggerated over time.  This drug thing makes way more sense though.

Hey, if I was fucked up enough, I might see a man walk on water too.
